(a) Total capacitance of parallel combination
`C = C_1 + C_2 + C_3 = 2 + 3 + 4 = 9 pF = 9 xx 10^(-12) F.`
(b) In parallel combination potential difference across each capacitor = V = 100V
`:. Q_1 = C_1 V = 2 xx 10^(-12) xx 100 = 2 xx 10^(-10) C`
`Q_2 = C_2 V = 3 xx 10^(-12) xx100 = 3 xx 10^(-10) C`
and `Q_3 = C_3 V = 4 xx 10^(-12) xx 100 = 4 xx 10^(-10) C`.
