Seperations and isolation of DNA fragments.
(i) DNA cut by REN, fragments separated by gel electrophoresis.
(ii) Negatively chargeds DNA fragments are forced to move towards anode under electric field through medium/matrix.
(iii) Matrix used is agarose gel (PAGE/AGE).
(iv) DNA fragments are sepearated according to their size through sieving effect.
(v) Separated fragments are visualised in ethidium bromide, exposed to UV radiation.
(vi) Separated bands of DNA are cutout from agarose gel-Elution.
