`therefore` Electric field `E_(infty)at - q gt` electric field `E_(+)` at +q Electric force, `F =qE`
`therefore F prop E (therefore q)` are same
`therefore F_(-)/F_(+) = E_(-)/E_(+)`
But `E_(-) gt E_(+)`
`therefore` Resultant force F will be in direction of `F_(-)` It means towards left.
