Produce ED to meet BC at P.
`AB||PE` and BPC is the transversal.
`:. angleABP+angleBPE=180^(@)`
`implies angleABC+angleBPE=180^(@)` ...(i)
Now, `EF||BPC` and EP is the transversal.
`:. angleBPE=anglePEF implies angleBPE=angleDEF`. ...(ii)
Hence, `angleABC+angleDEF=180^(@)` [using (ii)].
