Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
384 `cm^(2)`

`AB^(2)={(16)^(2)+(12)^(2)}cm^(2) = (256 + 144)cm^(2) = 400 cm^(2) rArr AB = sqrt(400)cm = 20 cm`.
The sides of `Delta ABC` are 20 cm, 48 cm, 52 cm. Find its area.
Area of the shaded region = area (`Delta` ABC) - area (`Delta` ADB).
