In a textbook on mathematics there are three exercise A, B and C consisting of 12, 18 and 10 questions respectively. In how many ways can three quesitons be selected choosing one from each exercise?

1 question out of 18 can be chosen in 18 ways.
1 question out of 10 can be chose in 10 ways.
Required number of ways `=(12xx18xx10)=2160.`
