Give some examples of the ions which are coloured but diamagnetic in nature.

Dichromate ion `(Cr_(2)O_(7)^(2-))`, chromate ion `(CrO_(4)^(2-))` and permanganate ion `(MnO_(4)^(-))` are diamagnetic, due to absence of unpaired electrons. But these are coloured due to charge transfer phenomenon.
