Find the ratio of accelerations of two o...

Find the ratio of accelerations of two objects whose `vto t` graphs make angles `30^(@) and 45^(@)` with axis of time.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Slope of `v to t` graph `= tan theta`
Slope of `v to t ` graph = acceleration
`therefore` Acceleration` = tan theta`
`therefore (a _(1))/(a _(2)) = ( tan theta _(1))/( tan theta_(2)) =(tan 30^(@))/(tan 45^(@))`
`therefore (a _(1))/( a _(2)) = ((1)/( sqrt3))/( 1) = (1)/( sqrt3)`
