In `CH_(2)Cl_(2)`, the resultant of two C - Cl bond moments are enhanced by resultant of two C - H bond moments.
(ii)
In `CHCl_(3)`, the resultant of two C - Cl bond moments is opposed by the third C - Cl bond moment.
(iii) `C Cl_(4)` is symmetrical and bond moments are cancelled mutually.

Thus, order of dipole moment is
`CH_(2)Cl_(2)gt CHCl_(3)gt C Cl_(4)` (non - polar).
