(a) In such a situation, a manager should reduce the expenditure on promotion or increase the prices.
(b) If he finds that the demand is irregular, then he should change the time pattern of demand through methods like providing short-term incentives to buyers etc.
(ii) Marketing management is not only concerned with creating demand but also with managing the demand effectively as per the market situation.
