Why do we wear white or light colour clothes in summer and dark colour clothes in winter ?

Substances of black colour absorb and emit the radiations better than light colour substances.
Light colour clothes absorb less heat and reflect more heat coming from Sun in summer. Hence, less heat is felt.
Dark colour clothes absorb more heat hence out body can be warm in winter.
