The absolute temperature (Kelvin scale) ...

The absolute temperature (Kelvin scale) T is related to the temperature `t_(c)` on the Celsius scale by `t_(c)=T-273.15`
Why do we have `273.15` in this relation, and not `273.16` ?

At normal pressure, melting point of ice on celsius scale is `0^(@)C` and on kelvin scale it is `273.16K`. Triple point of water on kelvin scale is `273.16K`.
Hence, in `t^(@)C=T-273.15,273.16` is not there.
