These days people use steel utensils with copper bottom. This is supposed to be good for uniform heating of food. Explain this effect using the fact that copper is the batter conductor.

Copper is better conductor than steel. At the bottom of steel, if copper layer is given then copper will absorbs the heat quickly and will pass it to food in vessel. Due to that the food will be cooked quickly.
