Applying KVL in the closed loop containing `R_(1)` and `R_(2)` , we get
- `I_(1) R_(1) + I_(2) R_(2)= 0 `
`therefore I_(1) R_(1) = I_(1) R_(2) `
`therefore V_(1) = V_(2) `
`rArr `p.d across `R_(1) and R_(2)` are equal.
