Two key events take place during S phase...

Two key events take place during S phase in animal cells, DNA replication and duplication of centriole. In which parts of the cell these events occur ?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

Replication of DNA takes place in nucleus and doubling of centriole is seen in cytoplasm. Centriole forms spindle fibre during cell division in animal cell which controls chromosomal movement in a cell. The location of centriole determines location of nucleus and plays a key role in location related arrangement of cell.
