The effect of uncertainty principle is s...

The effect of uncertainty principle is significant only for motion of microscopic particles and is negligible for the macroscopic particles. Justify the statement with the help of a suitable example.

If uncertainty principle is applied to an object of mass, say about a milligram `(10^(-6)kg)`, then
`Delta.Deltax=(h)/(4pim)`
`Deltav.Deltax=(6.626xx10^(-34)kgm^(2)s^(-1))`
`=0.52xx10^(-28)m^(2)s^(-1)`
The value of `Deltav.Deltax` obtianed is extermeely small and is insignificant. Therefore, for miligram-sized or heavier objects, the associated uncertainties are hardly of any real consequence.
