Arranging the data is ascending order 1,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
Here, number of observations is 10, which is even.
So, median=`((n/2th) "observation"+(n/2+1) "observation")/(2)`
`((10/2)th "Observation"+(10/2+1)th "Observation")/(2)`
`(5th "observation"+6th "Observation")/2=(4+5)/2=9/2=4.5`
