a) What precautions(s) would you recommend to a patient requiring repeated blood transfusion?
b) If the advise is not followed by the patient, there is an apprehension that the patient might contract a disease that would destroy the immune system of his/he body. Explain with the help of schematic diagram only how the immune system would get affected and destroyed.

a) If a person or patient requires repeated blood transfusion then, he must follow some precautions as:
i) Sterilized syringes or needles should be used, avoid infected needles or using same needles can cause HIV AIDS.
ii) He should not be drug abuser or addicted, who take drugs intravenoulsy.
iii) Transfusion of contaminated blood and blood products should be avoided otherwise higher risk of transmission of HIV-injection.
