Distinguish between Sky wave and Space wave modes of propagation in a communication system.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

When the radio waves from the transmitting antenna reach the receiving antenna after reflection in the ionosphere, the wave propagation is called sky wave propagation.
When the radio waves from the transmitting antenna reach the receiving antenna either directly or reflection from ground or in troposphere the wave propagation is called space wave propagation.
