Satellite communications uses broadcast mode in which space wave mode of propagation is used. For frequency range `30MHz- 1000MHz`, `lambda` falls in the range `0.3m` to `10m`. In this range, diffraction of wave is high and also looses directional property so range of frequency is `5.925 - 6.425 GHz`is satellite communication.
