What for Nucleopolyhedro viruses are being used now a days?

Explanation

Nucleopolyhydroviruses are used as biological control agent specific to some insects. Most of Baculoviruses belongs to the genus nucleopolyhedro virus. These viruses are excellent candidate for species- specific narrow spectrum insecticidal application. They do not have negative impact on either plant, animal, bird or non-target insect, so can be conserved in IPM (Integrated Pest Management program).
