The number of images formed between two parallel plane mirrors are .......... .

A

0

B

90

C

100

D

`infty`

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
D

If & is the angle between two plane mirror, the
number of images n = `(360^@)/(theta)-1`
For two parallel mirrors `theta=0^@`
`therefore`The number of images n = `(360^@)/(0^@)-1`=infinite
