Its reason is that ideal contraceptive should be : (i) User friendly (ii) Without any side effect (ii) It should in no way interfere with the sexual drive, desire or the sexual act of the user.
When reproductive organs are removed, then basic functions of reproductive system like secretion of hormones, formation of gamete cell do not occur.
