Induced abortion is considered safe during first three months means 12 weeks of pregnancy. Abortion of second three months is considered dangerous.
Induced abortion is not always done by operation. Some medicines are used for abortion. Their function is to induce menstruation through that zygote is implanted or removes implanted embryo.
In India, mostly induced abortions are done by nurses illegally. This is not safe and results in death of a mother. So induced abortion must be done in presence of registered doctors.
