In old age, people often suffer from stiff and inflamed joints. What is this condition called ? What are the possible reasons for these symptons ?

Stiff and Inflammed joints condition is called osteoporosis. It is age related disorder. It is characterised by decreased bone mass and increased chances of fractures. In adult female decreasing level of estrogen is common cause for osteoporosis.
