The correct Answer is:
A


`T_(1) + T_(2) = 3mg`
Taking torques about A , we get 0.5 mg + 0.75 `xx 2 mg = 1 xx T_(1) therefore T_(2) = 2 mg`
Similarly , taking torque about B , we get `T_(1) = mg`
`therefore (T_(1))/(T_(2)) = (1)/(2)`
