Malus law is given by `I=I_(@)cos^(2) theta` Where `I_0` is the intensity of polarized light coming out of I Polaroid and incidenting on Il Polaroid. `.theta.` is the angle between the pass-axis of the Il Polaroid makes with that of I Polaroid.
