Determine the current drawn from a 12 V supply with internal resistance `0.5 Omega` by the infinite network shown in Fig. Each resistor has `1 Omega` resistance.

First calculate net resistance of `oo` network
`x=2+(x)/(x+1)`,
`x^(2)-2x-2=0`
on solving,
`x=1+sqrt3=2.73Omega`
Total resistance `=2.73+0.5`
`=3.23Omega`

`I=(12)/(3.23)=3.73A`
