Here, particles at `x =10, 20,30,40..` cm remain stationary at their respective mid points orf path of oscillation, which is characteristic ofnodal point. Distance between two consecutive nodal points is `(lamda)/(2)` which is here,
`(lamda)/(2) =(20-10) =10`
`therefore lamda =20 cm`
