During night greater amount of `CO_(2)` is found to be presenet in air causing increase in density of air. This in turn increases the rate of transfer of energy (because of more no. of condensations and rarefactions) i.e. power (P) increases. Hence, intensity of wave `I = (P)/(A)` also increases.
