The heat generated in a circuit is dependent on the resistance, current and time of flow of electrical current. If the errors measured in the above are 1% , 2% and 1% respectively, what is the maximum error in heat ?

Heat `H= (i^(2)RT)/(j)`
Maximum error in measuring the heat
`(Delta H)/(H) xx 100 = 2 (Delta i)/(i) xx 100 + (Delta R)/(R ) xx 100 + (Delta T)/(T) xx 100`
Here J is a constant
Given that `(Delta R)/(R ) xx 100=1%, (Delta i)/(i) xx 100 = 2% (Delta T)/(T ) xx 100 = 1%`
`(Delta H)/(H) xx 100= (2 xx 2) + 1 + 1 = 4 + 1+ 1`
Maximum error in heat = 6%
