Types of sex-linkage
(i)Diagynic. The sex linked genes are present on the non-homologous part of X-chromosome and are passed on from father to grandson through daughters of F generation.
(ii) Diandric. The mother transfers traits to her grand daughter through her son
(iii) Hologynic. Character is passed directly from mother to daughter
(iv) Holandric. Genes which are in the non-homologous part of Y chromosome are passed on directly from father to son
