Why coloid cannot be filtered by ordinary filter paper ?

Explanation

Colloidal particles have a particle size ranging from `10 A^@` to `1000 A^@`. The porosity of an ordinary filter paper is much greater than the size of the colloida. Thus, they pass through the filter paper.
