The pressure at `C` is

A

(i) B ii (D)

B

(i) C (ii) D

C

(i) B (ii) C

D

(i) B (ii) A

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

The correct Answer is:
A

`(dp)/(dx)= - rho a` (along horizontal towards right) i.e., in the direction of acceleration along horizontal pressure will decrease of `p_(AB) gt p_(CD)`
`(dp)/(dy)= - rho g`
(along vertically upwards direction pressure will decrease)
Hence, pressure at B is maximum and pressure at D is minimum.
