Here, `mu_(1)=1,mu_(2)=4//3,u=-10cm and R=30 cm`
Using the relation, `mu_(2)/v-mu_(1)/u=(mu_(2)-mu_(1))/R`
Substituting the values,
`rArr(4//3)/v-1/(-10)=(4//3-1)/30rArr4/(3v)+1/10=1/90`
`rArr4/(3v)=1/90-1/10=(-8)/(90)rArrv=-15 cm`
The image is formed 15 cm left of speherical surface and is virtual.
