Figure is equvalent to the one shown below It is a Wheatstone's bridge in which

`P=(6xx3)/(6+3)=2omega, Q=8/2=4omega`
`R=4/2=2omega and S=(20xx5)/(20+5)=4omega`
We fingd that `P/Q=2/4=R/S`
i.e the bridge is balanced Effective resistance between p and q
`R_(AB) =((P+Q)(R+S))/(P+Q+R+S)=((2+4)(2+4))_/(2+4+2+4)=(6xx6)/(12)=3omega`
