The polymers that are formed by repeated condensation reaction between two different bi-functional or trifunctional monomeric units with the elimination of simple molecules like water, methyl alcohol, ammonia, hydrogen chloride etc are called as condensation polymers.
Example: Nylon-6,6 is formed by the condensation hexamethylene diammine with adipic acid.
