Find the mass of H2SO4 present in 100 cm...

Find the mass of `H_2SO_4` present in `100 cm^(3)` of a decimolar solution.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

According to the molarity relation,
`w =(M xx M. xx v)/1000`
In the present case,
`M = 1/10` (the solutioon is decimolar)
`M.=98, v = 100 cm^(3)`
`therefore w = (1/10 xx 98 xx 100)/1000 = 0.98 g`
Hence, the `100 cm^(3)` of the given solution contain 0.98 g of `H_(2)SO_(4)`
