What happens when a colloidal sol of `Fe(OH)_3` is mixed with that of `As_2S_3`?

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

`Fe(OH)_3` is a positively charged sol and `As_2S_3` is a negatively charged sol. On mixing, their charges get neutralized. Hence, their mutual coagulation occurs.
