Stenothermal organisms are organisms which can tolerate narrow range of temperature. These organisms are of two types : Thermophilic that can thrive in high temperatures only. Examples: coral reefs and some reptiles and Cryophilic that can only survive in low temperature regions. Examples : arctic crustaceans, salmons and seals.
