When the stopper of a bottle full of hydrogen chloride gas is opened there are fumes in air? Explain why?

Hydrogen chloride gas fumes in moist air because it is highly soluble in water and when it comes in contact with air containing water droplets it dissolves in water and forms moist. Which appears as white fumes.
