Find the velocity of sound in O2 at NTP....

Find the velocity of sound in `O_2` at NTP. Given that the velocity of sound in the `H_2` at NTP is `1880 ms^(-1)` the density of oxygen is 16 times the density of hydrogen `gamma= 1.4` for both the gases.

Text Solution

The correct Answer is:
`V(O_(2))=V(H_(2))//5=1880//4=470ms^(-1)`.
