In the diagram as shown, find parameters representing `x` and `y` axes and also parameter `Z`, if `Z_(1) = Z_(2), Z_(3) = Z_(4)` and `Z_(2) gt Z_(3) :`

A

Volume, pressure and temperature

B

Temperature, volume and pressure, it is only possible option

C

Temperature, pressure and volume, it is only possible option.

D

Both (b) and (c )

The correct Answer is:
D

d. If `x` and `y` axes are represented by volume and pressure respectively, and since `P prop (1)/(V)`, then parameter temperature `(Z)` cannot be represented by a straight line passing through origin. Option `(a)` is wrong. If pressure is constant `V prop T` and a graph between `V` and `T` represented by a straight line passing through origin. Further `(V)/(T) = (nR)/(P)` or slope `((V)/(T)) prop (1)/(P)`. But (slope of `Z_(1) Z_(2) lt` (slope of `Z_(3) Z_(4))`. So (pressure) `Z_(2) gt` (Pressure `Z_(3) Z_(4))`. so (Pressure) `Z_(2) gt` (pressure) `Z_(3)` and `Z_(1) = Z_(2) & Z_(3) = Z_(4)`. So option `(b)` is correct For similar arguments, option `(c )` is also correct
