Why potassium carbonate `(K_(2)CO_(3))` cannot be prepared by Solvay-ammonia process ?

Potassium carbonate cannot be prepared by Solcay-ammonia process because `KHCO_(3)` is highly soluble in water. Thus, when `CO_(2)` is passed through ammoniated solution of `KCI, KHCO_(3)` does not get precipitated and hence cannot be separated.
