Find the maximum and minimum values of any of the function f given by `f(x)=x^(4) , x in R ` .

From the graph of the given function
`f(x)=0 if x =0`
Also , `f(x) ge 0 " for " x in R `
Therefore minimum values of f is 0 and it is at x=0.
From the graph it is also clear that there is no point of maximum .

Note : If we restrict domain then maximum value will exist.
For example: for the function
`y = |x|, x in [-3, 4]`
minimum value = 0 at x = 0
Maximum value will be existing at end points f(4) = 4.
