If in `triangleABC, a=2sqrt(3), b=3sqrt(2)` and `angleB = 60^(@)`, then find the measure of `angleC`.

Text Solution

Verified by Experts

By sine rule,
`a/(sinA) = b/(sinB)`
`rArr (2sqrt(3))/(sinA) = (3sqrt(2))/(sin 60^(@))`
`rArr (2sqrt(3))/(sinA) = (3sqrt(2) xx 2)/(sqrt(3))`
`therefore angleA ne 135^(@)` because `angleA + angleB ne 195^(@)`
`therefore A = 45^(@)`
`rArr angleC=180^(@) - (angleA + angleB)`
`=180^(@) - (45^(@) + 60^(@))`
`=75^(@)`
