While sulphue dioxide and hydrogen perox...

While sulphue dioxide and hydrogen peroxide and act as oxidising as well as reducing agents in their reactions, ozone and nitric acid act only as oxidants. Why?

`SO_(3)`and `H_(2)O_(2)` both acts as oxidising as well as reducing agents.
`to` Ozone acts as strong oxidising agent in acidic medium (Ozone acts as reducing agent also in some cases).
`to` `HNO_(3)` acts as strong oxidising agent because in `HNO_(3)`.`He H^(+)` ion redily released and the oxida-tion state of .N. is + 5 in `HNO_(3)` so it is a good oxidising agent.
