One angle of an isosceles triangle is `90^(circ) .` What are.the other two angles?

Text Solution

Two angles of an isosceles triangle are equal. `90^(circ)` cannot be the measure of equal angles. Therefore, súm of the measures of two equal angles is `90^(circ)` (i.e., `180^(circ)-90^(circ)` ) i.e. each angle is equal.to `45^(circ)` (i.e., `90^(circ) div 2` ) Therefore, other angles are `45^(circ), 45^(circ)`
