Power factor :The cosine of the phase angle between alternating `e.m.f` and current in an `a.c.` circuit is called the power factor of the circuit.
`therefore` Power factor of `a.c.` circuit is `cosphi=R/sqrt(R^(2)+(omegaL-1/(omegaC))^(2))`
It depends upon the frequency of the `a.c.` source.
