Since f(x) is an even functions defined on `[-5,5]`.
`:. f(-x) =f(x)` for all ` x in [-5,5]`
Thus, `f(x)=f((x+1)/(x+2))`
`impliesx=(x+1)/(x+2) or , x=-(x+1)/(x+2)`
`implies x^(2)+x-1=0 or , x^(2)+3x+1=0`
`implies x=(-1 pmsqrt(5))/(2) or , s=(-3 pm sqrt(5))/(2)`
Hence, the value of x are
